A sound can hold a room open.

Sona Vey is a fictional composer working with suspended tones, close textures and the spaces around a melody. This demonstration follows a small independent practice, from the first recorded note to a shared listening room.

An open curved chamber of individual dark and silver acoustic fins surrounds a displaced cobalt pressure membrane on a square architectural base.

Close listening.
Open spaces.

A note can feel like a surface. A rhythm can hold a room open. Sona Vey's fictional practice begins with these small shifts: an almost-familiar sound, a pause held a little longer, a melody finding its way through the grain.

These six demonstration releases move between intimate electronic sketches and longer listening pieces. The visual world follows the same idea: precise structures with space to breathe.
